Goodfriend Art Studio is in the home studio of owner, Keri Goodfriend, in Aldie, Virginia. 

 

The Goodriend Art Studio courses aim to teach children, youth and adults art techniques and theory, as well as art history, famous works of art, storytelling through art and connecting with their community through artwork; all through proven teaching techniques that are fun and confidence building!

 

Keri began the studio teaching her own daughters from her kitchen table, expanded to creating lessons for neighborhood children, and for the past 12 years she has taught small group art classes in her home studio space. The Goodfriend Art studio is not about large group or “retail” art, Keri loves building relationships with the small groups of young artists and families in the community! Keri has a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art, and a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology from James Madison University. Keri has experience teaching art to students ages 2-teen, adults, and special needs adults.
